Explorer's Heaven

Last Sat. we went to a place called Golkanda Fort. It was cool, ancient, and unrestricted.

Map of the fort.

It is like a huge playground. You can walk around and explore the anicent ruins anywhere you want after you've paid your 100 rupees. We toke full advantage of it and spent 5 hrs exploring the whole inner fort.

The front garden of the fort.

The palace itself is on the hill top. We climbed up all the way to the tip of the hill and toke some really nice pics of the scenry we saw below us. The feeling was amazing.

Is that .... India ?

Rohit and his GQ post.

The ruins below.

This palace itself.

Afterwards, we climbed back down and did some more exploring in the ruins area. This place is a perfect map for Unreal Tournament.

Mr. GQ

Perfect place for a death match.

This is actually a roof top that you have to climb up to get to.

The pics on my memory stick isn't as nice as the ones on Rohit's. Too bad he forgot his camera today. I'll upload his tomorrow.

Btw, for those who are "The Wonders of India" fans, I got one story to tell about this weekend. I call it "HK Movie Star #2 - East Asia Strategic Development CM". Stay tuned.
Comments:
What can I say? You gotta stay GQ when you're managing a HK star.

Thats a pretty cool fort. I saw it briefly when I was in Hyderabad, but I went late and it was closed so I saw from outside only.

And yeah it would make for some cool levels in many video games.

heheh.. should've taken a picture like you were fighting with your friend in the ruins... instant classic! =D
